🎯 Overview

Madelyn Brené is a classically trained soprano fusing Opera, R&B, Soul, Pop and Hip-Hop/Trap into her signature genre, “T.R.A.P. Opera™”. As her A&R and creative lead, I assisted with development of the genre-bending sound, branding, and rollout strategy for singles and covers that have defined and elevated her unique artistry.

Focus: Vocal production, top-line development, creative narrative, songwriting, and A&R coordination.

My Role:

• Coordinated songwriting and vocal production sessions to blend operatic nuances with contemporary R&B stylistic elements
• Worked with producer Jordache Vincent Grant to sculpt a sonically empowering, anthemic tone
• Guided early visual and branding strategy to support a message of confidence and identity
• Collaborated with GRAMMY® winning audio engineer Randy Merrill for mastering services

Outcome:

• Helped introduce and position Madelyn as a dynamic and bold, genre-fusing artist with a clear message of empowerment and individuality
